Victoria's Secret Fashion Films
Collaborating on a campaign featuring three videos (a 16-second teaser, a 30-second feature, and a 60-second narrative) I served as the creative director, overseeing styling, location scouting, and storyboarding. I shaped the visual story to ensure each video captured the essence of the "Bridal Edit" campaign with a cohesive and engaging aesthetic.
Angel Magazine
Working alongside my classmates on a fashion editorial project, we developed the "Bridal Edit", a campaign that captures the joyful spirit of a wedding day, featuring Victoria’s Secret pajamas and lingerie. I took the lead in curating the editorial magazine using Adobe InDesign, giving it the title Angel Magazine.
"Chaos is My Muse" Final Collection
As the last project for my Introduction to Fashion course, I began by reimagining my original concept board, muse board, and fabric board, followed by two new design development boards for my final collection. The lineup included six front and back cohesive designs, in addition to two detailed fashion flats.
The Recycled Project
working solely with recycled materials, I made a wearable look surrounding my quarter-long theme, "Chaos is My Muse". My recycled project is a dynamic piece of art that challenges conventional fashion norms while exploring how disorder can be expressed in a visual and wearable way.
Mock Advertisement Campaign
Acting as a creative director for this advertisement, I created a meaningful campaign concept for the fashion brand, For Love & Lemons. I built a photo team, casted models, styled the shoot, scouted locations, created a shot list and storyboard, and provided visual swipes that clearly expressed my creative vision, all compiled into a presentation format.
Silhouette Exploration
Working through a three step process - experimenting on the stand, collaging on a figure, and using the lift techniques - I learned to to manipulate materials to develop unique silhouettes and 3D impression in fashion design.
Fashion Trend Journal
Over the course of a ten-week period, I explored five different fashion trends I have noticed in the media and compiled a mock magazine analyzing each of these trends with garment images, historical context, and social media examples.
Personal Brand Identity
As my first experience using Adobe InDesign software, this presentation served as a way for me to define my personal brand and visual identity system. I took a deep dive into understanding my mission, vision, values, purposes, voice, and visual storytelling as a creative, marketer, and designer.
Brand Extension
Alongside two of my peers, I created a slideshow revolving around a marketing strategy for a potential home extension and execution for the brand Skims. I honed in on how this possible extension would be featured in advertising and engagement with the brand's target consumer.
Kika's Kloset
My freshman year of college, I established Kika's Kloset, a clothing company and fashion blog. Pictured are some original designs I sold to consumers via my Etsy storefront. In addition to these garment mockups, I created content on social media for my brand and set up a manufacturing process for seamless delivery.
"Cherry On Top"
Summer 2024, I was granted the opportunity to pick a theme and create a logo for the Cherry Bowl Swimming championship meet held at my local swim club. After much experimentation, I landed on the theme "cherry on top" and established a logo to be printed on all different merchandise and decorations. Throughout this three-month long project, I served as an art director, overseeing the visual elements and aesthetics of the event.
"Tropical Bliss"
For the final project of my introduction to textiles course, I created a clothing line consisting of twelve different looks, each made with one of my fifteen original fabric swatches. Included in these swatches were printed garbadine, jersey knits, basket weaves, painted denim, and embellished cotton. My final compilation was presented on a trip-fold board with my process work, swatches, moodboard, and models.
"Put A Bow On It"
As an editorial piece titled "put a bow on it", I created an original garment of my choice using any fabric printing technique. Utilizing block printing, as pictured in my process photos, I made a custom bow tank top and had one of my classmates photograph me. Serving as the designer for this project, I also was the stylist, model, and creative director.
"Nautical Nonsense"
Investigating pattern making via Adobe software, this project titled "nautical nonsense" served as an experimental piece with both Illustrator and fabric printing. I began with a moodboard and color story, then continued to produce and print six different repeat patterns on a chiffon fabric.
